Game gets a 5/5. Really should have been 4.5/5 because of repetitive music, can't change key layout, and can't simply quit to menu, have to get asked to submit score first which is weird.
Well anyway the game combines some strategy with reflexes and having to do threat assessment really fast. Pretty cool combination. It's surprisingly deep for what it is.
Some puzzles are harder than others, but it really doesn't have much to do with size. Yeah, if you make an error in the beginning it will propagate further down, but that's about it. It doesn't have much to do with thinking.
Love the game, but there is a glitch on Unpossible. I made a blue chain so that it will stop my cog and swing it around, and the chain "fell through" the grass. Gave me a win, though. :D
The only difficulty in the game is that the enemies that are hard are so because they don't give you a chance to attack and just go apeshit. Case in point: Giant Demon. No way to outsmart him, just have to *hope* he doesn't use his big sword thing 50 times in a row on you.
The AI is the worst part. My henchmen are supposed to stand behind me, sure, but then when there is a back attack and I try to get in front, they STILL go back, right into the fray.
BillMD, skill doesn't matter when a game sucks. I only bought two different moves, one for standing still and one for moving forward. He was using the move forward one when I wasn't hitting anything but attack. No way that's my fault.
Secondly , yes I can and am blaming crappy AI for archers. They are support, it says so. Why wouldn't they get behind me when a swordsman comes by? Or better yet, why don't I get a command to tell them to get behind me? Why can't I switch which direction I'm facing on my own? Lousy game.
