Squirrelman01 has a very good point. I ended up with all the upgrades before the 2nd boss....I think you should have to grind a little more for super-powerful guns and such. Good game and all, but I'm all about upgrades which you lack/made it too easy to get. Now I have nothing to work for :/
Well I wore the game out for what is it, and started thinking about the fact that it would be nice if the cars challenged you and you could actually reach higher speeds.
So to see if I could experience it in a different manner I busted out Cheat Engine (sorry), and sped the game up 5x.....do this and wait for the game to get to around 200 mph.....the things you can do with the road are crazy. After a while it just makes you wish you were tripping while playing...
Hire 3 henchmen, fight elder dragon, use stun stomp and then tendril wave it to the edge of the screen, keep spamming tendril wave while henchmen attack, win every time :)
When enemy is at the edge of the screen the tendrils don't go out of screen so instead of just passing and only hitting it like 3 times you hit it with almost every tendril.
In my opinion the 3rd nailed a nearly perfect game and this one completely ruined what you had going. I preferred a big skill circle (skill tree like system), I enjoyed having multiple hero's on my side at once, and I also enjoyed the vast scale the battle's in the third had. I do really like that you added items to the game, and I like that we aren't just destroying the same fortress over and over but I don't know....It feels like you guys really copped out on this one. It's the little things to be honest. Like in the other games you have the little black bar that shows the units on the map since you can't see the whole map, and that's gone now for almost no reason. at least give an option to have it or not.
You guys could have definitely tried harder : / The others easily deserve 5/5, but I give this a 4/5 because you seemed to have stripped away much of the game's content to make it a more simple straight forward game, and to some of us it just isn't working out.
I eagerly await the sequel with all of it's upgraded goodness. Oh, but could you please use easier colors to tell apart, or at least make the current ones more distinguishable. I'm somewhat colorblind and I know there are others like me on Kong.

I didn't think about it until I played the second time but in the space level you are actually out there for YEARS lol. Look at how fast everything is going around the sun. It's basically on fast forward :)
Why are people putting -'s to comments that don't deserve it? Calm down guys. Anyways, great game. Very addicting and lot's of good suggestions going around that I would seriously consider putting in the game. 4/5.
