@ olinn: If you put something in the trading machine you have to click on any item, any other action won't work. To fight the hunter you need to activate the energy shield (and get it before of course).
So no, the game isn't a dissapointment, you just don't understand it.
Some small things: You can either be transformed to a snail or a frog and if you're a frog you can jump in the different potions. (The second and the third ones will kill you regardless.) The hero almost cries when the fox is eaten. The sign in the bar says: "Who wants to party hard, has to work hard."
highscores made easy:
first buy the valves
build about 5 launchers in a row at the left bottom and upgrade the valves
hit till you got some shells in an infinite loop (you can interrupt a combo by going in the shop)
wait some minutes, interrupt, upgrade valves, repeat
with enough money build a vertical line of buzzers
???????
infinite combos!

and there are achievements: press space and you can buy upgrades and see your achievements.
Agility is the spead new troops are created. if you max it out you get troops 2 times faster so its very useful. Try out a game with min. agility and one with max and you can see the difference
104/110 and the game seems to help me: ive got the merciless award(2 razor queens killed), but I only killed one and the impressionist(4 different glooples in one swing), but i just killed 2 in one swing
that was wierd: i killed all glooples in small nest on normal mode, there stood congratulation 300 points
and than a razor queen appeared!
she killed me and when i klicked on rematch i was in the menu again
