One of the best games I have played. The characters are funny, the artwork is good, and the gameplay is fresh. But most of all, what sets this game apart is that it makes you think. I had to grapple with difficult ideas in order to win, but I actually had a good time doing it! This game takes a subject that normally puts people to sleep and makes it really fun. I wish my teachers had something like this. Thank you for the game.
I could be wrong, but this is what I understand each type of shot to do. Hull - extra damage to ship hp. Crew - increases likelihood of boarding success. Sail - extra reduction of AP.
Maybe an indicator that shows which places are searchable without putting our mouse on it? It's getting to the point where I just run my mouse all over the screen looking to make sure I didn't miss any places.
Excellent game, I've definitely wasted more time on this game than is probably healthy. A few suggestions - A way to train the teammates, or at least an explanation of how their goal shooting AI works. I'm quite reluctant to trust my teammates with a pass in front of the goal because he might kick it straight to the keeper. A bit more information on what happiness, fans, and girlfriends do would be appreciated. Also, when considering contracts, it's really helpful to know how good the new team is in it's league (nothing sucks worse than having a bad team). Finally, a period between seasons to upgrade skills and relationships would be really useful. This is sort of implemented with the world cup matches, but it's not very consistent. Just a few thoughts. Great game overall, an easy 5/5!
It's a great game, and it deserves a great rating. I've played the free part (80%), and I can assure anyone that part is good. Since I can't speak for the other p2p 20%, this game gets an 80%. 4/5.
This game gives what so many others are lacking - story. There's an engaging storyline, the characters actually have personality, and there's more to the game than just shooting stuff. There are some quirks with graphics, and I personally would prefer a few less percentages, but the game is overall a shining example of what we'd all like to see more of. I would love to see more.
Is anyone else finding a terrorist subplot? Something about the poloroid (misspelled) virus. Can you take that farther, because I just found three terrorists and that was it.
Seems like a stupid question, but I'm not sure if the elemental attack bonus we get from items helps a spell of the same element that we cast, or does that elemental damage on a regular attack. Help?
this game is a lot more strategic than EW3, but kinda feels more cold (especially in the winter wars campaign :P). EW3 was way less realistic, but u got the crazy excitement. there both good in different respects.
