A fun and immersive game that has great potential to be expanded not only on free game sites, but as an independent production for consoles. With a bit more polish and helpful suggestions from a supportive community, I see this being a big hit for a long time. 9/10
Really fun, short and satisfying game. I really hope that this will be made into a series. Only a few comments on things that could be improved: Difficulty could be a little higher, or at least have a difficult mode where enemies have more health and gold rating is harder to achieve. There should be an arrow overtop of the unlit lamps on the battlefield, as they can get obscured by characters in the foreground. Creative use of enemies with weaknesses, and the upgrades are amusing. You should be able to pause and open a reference manual to what each upgrade does and the background of each enemy. They already made the slates at the beginning of each stage, so bundle them into a notebook. 90/100.
A great little game. Has a few bugs, but it is to be expected with an ambitious project like this. I'm certain that if this game were packaged for Steam, (which I WOULD like to see), these wrinkles would be ironed out. I played this game years ago, and keep coming back every now and then for replay value. B+ to A- :)
Simple mining game with a higher replay value due to the addition of special features assigned to different equipment. As far as mining games go, 85/100. Needs more music tracks, and a couple more types of enemies that require different strategies to overcome.
Hey. I like the improvements made on the game so far. Here's a suggestion for a feature: Use rubies to upgrade the Base DPS of a character. And since this would be a pretty awesome trait, it seems reasonable to make it incrementally more expensive for each upgrade. Furthermore, the number of rubies to start with shouldn't be cheap, (like 250 for level 1), but the DPS should at least quintuple.
I love this game. 2 things I would like to have happen: First, at the very least, a sequel. This was a really creative game and had good humor. I would love to see a new set of puzzles. The second thing: put this on steam! If GemCraft made it, there's a chance that this one could too! It doesn't have the same cult following as the GemCraft franchise, but it still has merit and the replay value is very high. :)
The perfect mix of atmosphere, game length, play options, controls, and theme. 95/100. A few minor things to improve would be allowing bombs to be more useful by shortening the attack time, using bombs to break down weak walls to discover bonus rooms, and maybe your skeletons can become a bit more epic looking as you advance the spell power. Sequel PLEASE!!!!!
What, so you just wander around a compound the whole time? No tutorial, no build mode, no interaction with the environment? Just two people clearing garbage piles? Why does this need to be multiplayer?
Great game, but the difficulty level is completely screwed up at level 60. No matter what you do, there's no beating it. Up until that point, though, it's a balanced game.
One of my favorite games. High replay value. Lots of loot and many different play strategies. Expansions of this particular storyline in the future would be most welcome. Some more dialogue by characters in the battle would be a nice touch. Getting back items you just sold would also be handy. 94/100
It's a good idea for a game, but you run out of energy WAY too quickly. The only real way to get enough energy to continue playing is to buy food or drinks with bushbucks. Bushbucks can really only be obtained with Kreds. So, why not just buy them with Kreds in the first place? Because adding an exchange ratio means you'll buy more Kreds for bushbucks, which is kind of a slap in the face if you just come to kongregate to play games, not spend money.
The amount of detail that has been put towards gameplay and upgrade trees really shows the designer's skill. They wanted to offer a lot of different ways for you to control your strategy outside of mindless arena grinding. Colourful graphics and so-bad-its-good text add to the enjoyment. A little more character backstory and a slower tutorial rate would be welcomed.
This game has the perfect mix of frustration and gameplay that provides really high replay value. There are some things that need to be fixed, like not being able to choose whether to use bloonstones or not for attacking PvP. It would also be great if you had more cities to expand to, and also could transfer money between cities would be cool. All in all, a good game with a fresh spin on the Tower Defense genre. I'd like to see this version expanded, maybe someday make it to Steam.
A good enough game, but sometimes it's very hard to figure out the right strategy. Also, it would look a bit more "finished" or "streamlined" if the towers were placed in more of a grid fashion on the map, rather than whatever you can wiggle room into.
Glad you're enjoying the changes. Thanks for the suggestion. I've added it to our list. =)
