5 stars just because I loved it so much. Still a few things which could be tweaked, like a way to step back up a level within the crafting interface (as it is, you have to click your way back in for each individual crafting action, which gets to be a real pain for the later stages), but I love the look and feel of this game! Sequel please!
I think I've hit a bug. I keep trying to buy a chassis upgrade. I've got 19 ore slots now. I go into the upgrade place with over $1000 and the menu says that there's no need to buy the first or second chassis. The third one is called "SMARAGD" (?!?) and the description is "So much space!" and the price is $1000. I click X and $1000 is deducted from my purse, but the only other evident change is that the descriptions of the first two chassis options change back from "no need to buy" to their normal descriptions and all the prices turn red (since I now have not enough money to buy them). I still have 19 ore slots and the next time I come to the upgrades shop with over $1000 it will do the same thing -- forever. I'm bummed. Message me if I can get around this somehow.
My other comment is that there's a lot of walking in this; it becomes tedious. Otherwise, it's cool, and I love the music.
Super game, but I'm confused on one thing. My sniper towers keep failing to shoot. The display shows ammo, for example 30 rounds, and when I hover over that number, it says "How much ammo is here right now. Your snipers use ammo to shoot zombies." Yeah, that would be good... but, seemingly at random, it sometimes does shoot, other times it will say the tower is out of ammo and it won't shoot! (This is with at least one person in the tower; it's not for lack of someone to pull the trigger.) Zombies just amble up to the tower and casually knock it down. Grrrrr! If anyone has an idea what the problem is, send me a message please.
Took some getting used to at first, but cool game! Would like a counter of ships sunk/remaining in each level, and a bit more explanation of the upgrades (like how the stats -- crew, cannons, hull integrity -- are all restocked before each battle).
5/5. Great game! Campaign mode is FUN! I see nobody has made it past day 44; I guess that's where our limited upgrades and expansion slots finally just can't keep up with the increasing hordes.
First 5/5 I've given in a long time. Not quite perfect, but darn close! I wanted a way to reduce the meaningless particles on screen, but I think that is about all I would change. Other than that, I just want more! More campaigns, more story...... great game though.
Of the first 5 minutes, about 1 was me playing, another 30 seconds was me watching cut scenes, and the other 3.5 was me waiting impatiently for the VEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG pauses to finally end. GET ON WITH IT!
Shooting boat = dumb. Having to shoot tires when shooting FULLY EXPOSED HEAD doesn't work = dumb. No upgrades? Not much plot? Not that great of a sniper game. The font is annoying, too. Still, if all that could be addressed, it might be OK.
Beautiful graphics, but what the hell am I looking at??? There's so many blips of light that I can't tell. Plus it seems like the whole idea is to just constantly run at top speed, which is annoying.
Oh, and the first time I played, the game ran fine. Starting with the second time, in round 2, I got a phantom machine gunner shooting my house! Reloading the page resolved that one, but now I've found another glitch: when I pause, tab out, and tab back in, I can't unpause me. I can unpause the computer-controlled elements of the game, but I can't shoot! I'm on an older system so maybe it's my software: WinMe, old Flash, FF 2.
