Seemed like this game was nothing more than buying whatever upgrades I was able to as soon as I was able to without thinking until I eventually was able to launch the ship.
I have a scroll bar on the right side which occludes the rightmost portion of the playing window. This sucks because the scroll amount appears to be approximately 1 pixel, which hardly merits an entire scroll bar.
To pass the electricity field: throw a knife at the control panel near it.
Fun game, but I agree with hatemakingnames that it's a step down in terms of UI experience.
I like it. Maybe add some stuff on the shores, like fishermen competing with the player... could add weapons to shoot them or run them off... heheh. And they could retaliate too, perhaps... also could find treasures rarely, or garbage that takes up space without giving reward... lots of things could be added.
Totally, those are all great ideas! I do wonder how I could include other fishermen into the mix other than a tournament. That'd be pretty funny if you did have to shoo them away from your favorite hunting grounds though. I had some level design tricks up my sleeve like having to wade through a bunch of trash fish like you said, before you could get to some valuable ones. So you're actually dodging fish at the point. Glad to hear you share some of my thoughts, it validates them a lot more!
Neat game so far (played a few days). One bug: when I max an upgrade with "include maxed" unchecked, that maxed upgrade is still shown until I manually check and re-uncheck the "include maxed" option.
The interface is confusing and I got tired of playing after some days. It's not a bad game, but it lacks something and the UI definitely needs some revision.
Most guild functions seem to be running. However, when I complete an expedition, it appears that I receive guild coins, yet when I go into the bank, it shows that I have zero. Others apparently have gotten some, because the guild has received thousands from somewhere...
Pretty cool. I'm done after 1 run, because I like games where I can build up over time vs. games where each playthrough is standalone. But nice job; interesting and unique experience.
This is kongregate's fault. But I will try fixing it in the next update.
