Concerning Pricing (pt1)

First lets look at the various exchange rates, rather complicated since we have to first work with Kreds. For simplicity let us start with the 100 Kred Package, this is @ 10 dollars and you get a bonus 10 kreds so effectively 0.09090 $ per kred. Next we need to convert Kreds to Hydras again we’ll go with the 100 Kred package. 100 kreds = 1000 Hydra so an effective scaling of 10 to 1 so 0.009090$ per Hydra.

Players can buy somethings with Hydras only and somethings can be purchased with Shards or Hydras. Lets look at Shard packages even though Shards can be earned playing the game it’s not very many so again purchasing the shards will play heavily here.

Since we have a 1000 Hydra from our previous example lets look at the 8000 Shard package which cost 1000 Hydra or 100 Kreds or effectively 9.10$ since we got the bonus 10 Kreds. So we are looking a further reduction by a factor of 8 (0.009090/8), which gives us a base effective rate of 0.00113625$ per Shard or a base effective exchange rates of

1 USD = 11 Kreds = 110 Hydra = 880 Shards
also for use later on lets keep the conversion rates for USD to EUR (0.7708) Euro, GBP (0.6198) Great Gritish Pound, INR (53.5349) Indian Rupee, RMB (6.3105) Chinese Renminbi; in mind.

Now given that Shard can be earned although as I said before it’s not a substantial rate of return on time invested. I can accept a bump on the shards up to 10% so adjusted we are looking at 1 USD = 968 Shards
