Enemy Soldier: Sir! We have severely damaged the enemy tank and it has almost no ammo left! But we have reports an aircraft is enroute to resupply it and he has on-board engineers for repairs! Shall we finish him off now?
Enemy General: No! Hold your positions! Our expert marksmanship will surely be his downfall.
GUIDE: PET: plate lizard. TOWER: only build Boulder. STATS: not big deal since you can reset. End game, Trapper & Gem Smith = good. STRATEGY: cluster 3 or more boulders together. GEMS: Tower closest to enemy spawn put in order: POISON, LIGHTNING, FIRE. Middle = ICE, FIRE, Any. Last = Any 3, I suggest: POISON, FIRE, ICE. FOR TOUGH SINGLES: poison them with trap or single Boulder tower somewhere away from your cluster. FOR MULTIPATH: place cluster close to where path converges OR diverges. May need to make 4 towers and split them 2+2 (this does not happen often). NORMAL is now child's play. ENJOY!
Warning: Once you get your defenses well established, if you kill the machines right at their spawn hole, many of the kills will not be counted and you will not rack up the metal. Let them enter the room before raping. Thank you.
Everyone thought I was crazy for buying a 2 wheeled car! I'll bet it took everyone else a whole 50% longer to fix their vehicles. I certainly showed them.
Chainsaw glitch also works with Sawn-off. Hunting rifle is great, but there is something magical about not even having to aim and wiping out hordes of the undead.
GENERAL TIPS: if you need cash at THE START get achievements as they give nice boost & only buy upgrades that give STAT boosts. (The 5 bug items on the left are good.) HOW TO BEAT LEVELS FAST: Scorpion Tail pounds buildings down. Don't just walk around the whole stage, wipe out buildings where you start then move on. FLIP if you must. KILL PLANES/COPTERS: Bug Jump from Insect Legs are effective to begin with - just ram them. Later, the Subzero antennae (last upgrade above hard scales) is very good - energy effective and it stops any enemy from attacking if it doesn't kill them. TANKS: same upgrades as plane takedown just jump on them when they pull away or freeze with Sub0 antennae when available. MORE PEOPLE: don't level buildings as fast as possible. If you keep them standing, people flow from them. Do this any way you can ex. lower str stat, jump past buildings, freeze people & save. MECHAS: Cyborg Head, highest above Iguana Head, WIPES THEM OUT with Incinerator. HAPPY HUNTING
Nice game. Main issue is that it's very short. A sandbox/endless/continue with previous upgrades mode might remedy that situation. Minor issue, tiny enemy bullets are hard to see when I've got all my guns ablaze and I'm trying to get diamonds. And a bit more explanation on the collectible power-ups might be useful (I thought the Skull one meant it was instant death for me =P). Finally, What if I Haven't played Diablo??
Tip for hard badge: if you replay a level with 1 of 2 missing achievements, you only have to complete your MISSING achievement (+ level completion) to get both achievements counted. YAY!
Can you add a "turn over all cards" when you buy booster packs? The first few times was fun and exciting to see what you got... that passed rather quickly. :P
Something that might need fixing, the warning message that states "you don't have enough of this resource" to play something blocks the confirmation message of "do you want to discard a card?". In dire situations accidentally clicking a card would prevent you from discarding and may cause awful ruin!
So apparently if you edit your deck to have less than all the card slots filled, you can draw no card for 50gold in battles. Tip/Warning to all, there is not benefit of minimizing deck size to draw better cards. You just waste gold.
