There should be icons to indicate where sounds from the enemy come from if the enemy makes a sound like the guy in level 1 who keeps saying stuff and taunting you. There should icons to show where the taunts come from.
If your having trouble on the click the trollface 10 times in 10 seconds click all 9 trollfaces then run out of time. The tenth trollface is found on the small piece of paper that shows up when you fail a level.
