3. Why does high ground make the towers gain less XP?

It appears to be so I just noticed two orc towers one on the high ground and one right next to it did not reach the same level by the end of the game. it seems they would have fired both the same amount of shots if not the high ground tower firing more.
Very well done and great feel to the game. However the puzzle aspect isn't really intuitive or creative. It's more guess and test which way the level design wanted you to spin around this mushrooms.
not bad... still a lot of guess work and just moving your mouse around the screen trying to find what to click next. especially with all the secret panels in the white area.
