While letting this run in the background, I did the math. It will take approximately 1.18 YEARS of letting this run to reach the speed of light (671,000,000 mph) and you'll be at around level 7.2 million when you get there.
I'm not sure what the new concept is. If you made a game based on a book where the protagonist is stuck in a cube maze and has to find a way out, that's already a movie series that covers that. It's also called Cube.
I said new "game" concept, not new concept. Also the movie Cube doesn't feature discovering pages of a book. Thanks for taking the time to comment, though.
I have to say one thing about the premise. One, there's a small group of *usually) military-trained survivors, and their plan is to split up and individually clean up entire cities? Two, there are groups (or at least a group) of survivors who are not attempting something so futile, and the protagonist chooses against those guys? Then again, if I was living in a world with unlimited ammunition, I'd probably get a minigun and go to town on some zombies.
+1 if you hate Starkisses
I don't like "find the item" games, but this was a pretty good one (except for the starkiss thing with which a lot of people seemed to have a problem). I'm giving this a 4/5. That last point is hiding somewhere near that bastard starkiss. :D
1/5 for bugs. I can't select anything in the top menu. So, I can't buy cards and therefore can't get badges. Not to mention, I'm not going through this game with just a starter deck.
This is the first 5/5 I've given to a game in a long time, which is odd because I'm not really into MMOs or shooters, but there is something clever about this one. Trains are just super fun. The only balance issue I can see is that range is most important, which hurts melee classes. I'd rather have twice the range and max the damage. But hey, it's all good.

I gave it a 4/5. It's a great game and it has me hooked. There's just two features/changes I would suggest. First, double the screen size. It would be nice to have more play area for dogfights. As is, I spend a lot of time shooting (and being shot at) "off screen". Second, standardized items. I've seen things like "heavy" engines that are lighter than "light" engines. It's easier to conceptualize a ship build if I know what type of equipment for which I should be looking. As it stands, everything seems pretty random. But, you're working on Void II, which is great. I'm looking forward to it.
You really packed a lot into this game. The first campaign alone has "enough game" for a typical casual flash game, but then there's also the three other campaigns, with new weapons and whatnot. The challenges were generally pretty interesting and fun, too. I would have given it a 5/5, except that all the pay features kinda killed it. I can understand a dev trying to turn a buck with their flash skills (especially in this economy), but I don't think casual flash games on the net is the place for that. Kongs money-driven approach is actually the reason I tend to spend more time on NG than here. Not that NG is perfect, but they're better about this. Anyway, back on point, the thing that makes some flash games so great is the idea of creation for creation's sake, not to turn a creative idea into a profit-turning product. At least, that's my opinion on it. If you want to turn a buck, my advice is to make iphone games. That scene is all about the money.
Great sequel, though I have some minor suggestions. 1) Ability to sort survivors by name and/or specialty. It would make mission assignments much easier. 2) When looking through the equip list, if something is used, indicate who is using it. It takes forever to scroll through a list of 40+ people just to find out who has the one crowbar.
First impressions: Killer music. Perfect for this game. I like the evolution of gameplay. My only gripe is that the randomly generating avatars usually look weird.
Question: What different effects does each starting item have?
Could have been better.
1) Fewer levels. It gets to be a grind after about 25 or so (total).
2) It's called Pirates vs. Ninjas. It would have been a nice touch if there was a winner in the end, likely based on how much/little under/over par each side was.
3) The points were like that old game show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" In other words, the points don't matter.
4) Did the octopus eating enemies add or take away points? I didn't really pay attention (see #3). However the points displayed in a different color so I had no idea. In the end, I would have given the damn squid all of my points just to shave 10 levels off this game.
