Very cute game! It would be nice if there was a little bit of a backdrop, and if you could see where you were jumping, but other than that, this's a nice demo.
Keep at it!
I once had an old, little-kid laptop with 8bit games on it... one of them was a game very similar to this, called "Catch it!" I really loved that game, thanks for reminding me of it!
I like the music and the creepiness, but some of the differences seemed... cheaply edited. Probably because the art is so good that it would be hard to do convincing edits.
It's not working at all for me... I'm not sure if it's just a glitch, or if you spent all of your time making that fancy intro and none of your time making the game.
Freaky ending! I think it would've been funnier if Betty had said something like, "Mike, you're late! The party's already started!" implying that the party they were going to was actually the spaceship.
I played for 20 minutes, feeling very frustrated, until I found the skill shop. XD
I feel a bit better now.
Like the idea, do llamas really see color if they run fast enough?
Sometimes the jump is a little unresponsive even when I'm not on snow.. maybe it's just me, I dunno.
It's a good idea, but could use some tweaking. Besides what others have said... if you could make the game screen a bit smaller (and the reaction range smaller to keep the proportions the same) that would be nice. I have a large computer screen, but had to scroll down every time I wanted to see how many tries I had. The polygons don't bounce at the edge of the screen, but at some point offscreen, which makes it look kinda weird. Unfortunately, a lot of the game amounts to waiting around until the shapes are in the positions you want them, which may never happen. I definitely see potential here, though.
Fun game. Would be nice if there was some way to extend your time... I got something once about that in the beginning but couldn't figure out how to extend it again, even with constant turbo's and mass explosions.
a loooot of parallels with Portal here... although that's not too much of a bad thing.
"Why are you so hard to kill?"
Because I've got a level-skip button. xP
This was cute! It's a little complex at first, though, and I was focusing so much on shooting stuff that I couldn't look around for the upgrade thing. also, with the C and V thing, sometimes it was too easy to mix 'em up with x and z when not looking at the keyboard. It could use some tweaking, but it's a really cute game... I'll definitely be showing this to my friends! ;)
