If you got the Troll Dark Knight at 5-6 ascend,you will fight with mobs,which have 5x-15x more hp than you...At 6th ascend i was a T.D.K and at my 580hp i was fighting with 13k hp mobs,it's really slow and booring...So,Bard and Ambidexer(if you have enough money) are the best classes for fast growing,powerful killing and easy money farming..
"1-2 days from down to the top" strategy:
I started playing with gnome bard,so... He has a charisma bonus,which gives you a bonus for item's prices(sell or buy,whatever).I got my first ascend at 8lvl,but i didn't used untill i started getting 1-2 xp from killing mobs and 80-110xp per quest.I decided to do ascend.Now i'm human bard(you can actually be any other race).After 11 lvl your charisma will grow pretty fast(i spent alot of time of suiciding,because i wanted to buy more equip).For half a day i got 80mil.Finally,i ascended to Ambidexer(Centaur) 2 weapons=madness...So,i easily got the top 10 higscores at total gold obtained and max damage at 2 days.
First levels at Bard are slow and booring,but wait until 11,when you will get a tonns of money.At 350-400 charisma i was getting 80-240k from a one drop(treasure from chest) also.
i'm lvl 12 and all mobs have 4k-13khp.I'm wasting alot of time to kill it,but getting only 14 xp...wtf,it takes long-long time to get lvl. Already wasted 4 days for 100k xp

The character will also not cast active spells if it can do more damage with a normal attack
With normal attacks i'm hitting 12-14,but with lighting i'm hitting 7.So why does my char use lighting so much?
