Every time I'd move, I'd get shot at once, then get control back... So I stopped playing--if I'm going to get shot at before I get control, there should be a reason.
Very solid gameplay. Simple mechanics, yet still fun puzzles. Didn't hit anything super complicated, but it was getting harder at the right speed--proper game knowledge curve and all that. Graphics and sound make this game simple and light, very refreshing and fun to play!
So there's a tons of basic game design flaws, but I'll start with some basic ones.
1. There should be a mute button. Every game you make should have a mute button BEFORE it plays sound. I actually opened this up while watching a movie, and then decided not to play it. Luckily I'm procrastinating, so I came back to it...but not everyone has played all the old games to death, and will simply choose a different game.
2. Clickzones are so small, and they're not even the whole object. On the first level I tried to click the machine gun but couldn't click the actual body so I figured "nope, don't need it," then tried clicking the door.
3. There's no real clues for what you should do, it's just hunt for the clickables: On the third screen I just die. Don't know why/how to fix it, unless it involves having chosen the other weapon (which I couldn't click on) or discarding the one in my equip list (which I couldn't figure out how to discard).
Ok, so antidisestablishentarianism works. In fact, here is some help if you suck at this game.
try these letters and quantities, (A5 B1 E2 I4 L2 N2 S3 R2). This allows you to do learnings antidisestablishmentarianism bleating beatings embarrassingly, airlines.... and a ton of other words. Super easy IMO.
SPOILER LIKE CRAZY.
This is demonstrating four color theory. In basic, the easiest way to color the maps is to find a zone that borders a zone with another bordering shape (IE a triangle and a square both border each other, and also border a third square). Color one the first color, one the second color, aaaaaand.... repeat. Every once in a while, you need a fourth, but not often in this game.
maybe you guys (like drifta) don't understand how games like this grab a word bank. Generally when one programs something involving words, one generates the word bank (or the list of usable words) from what is called a dictionary file. The dictionary file contains a list of words (no, not definitions). This is why many games have the same wordbank... To add more words, a programmer would manually have to adjust the bank.... and man, forget that!
