The Wizard AI is really wonky. They act like any other unit and constantly run towards their target, only stopping when an enemy comes into range. Otherwise, they will run right up next to whatever building you are attacking, making them extremely vulnerable and must be managed with control flags. The problem with the control flags and wizards is that they will still constantly try to run unless perfectly placed to where they can reach every enemy producing tower. They don't prioritize enemies, even when there are some in range, and continue to to attack buildings. They don't attack while on a bridge very well at all, usually just running straight across without attacking. Maybe have the option to select targeting priority, enemies or buildings, main buildings or tower or target. Being able to do that would be immensely helpful and eliminate much of the frustration with wizards.
A bit of an exploitish way to get expert. Just save your points till you can get the third upgrade for the top three upgrades, then play the first level over and over. Build one basic tower, upgrade fully and send all waves immediately. Expert easily achieved, granting 24 upgrade points. Repeat until you get enough upgrade points to do same to lvl 2 and so on. Rinse, repeat, ????, Profit!
Definitely need an option to increase more than one per click. like maybe hold SHIFT to go by 10. or an ALL button. As a notice to other players, money maxxed out at 999,999 and does not roll over. only cash in missions to get just enough, don't waste your money from missions.
Thanks for the response, glad to know the info. I have not seen the comment so far, but maybe a loadout button or option in the Garage? It is a pain switching back and forth between combat and mining modes. It helps to buy all your new mining or combat equipment at once, but that is not always an option, and unique items disrupt that. A way to save a specific setup of items equipped would be a massive time saver. Excellent work again on this game, looking forward to what comes next.
Well done indeed. Maybe to assist with ease of locating trade goods, equipment and such, have a log option that keeps track of what is available where, but only for the places you have been. And maybe COMM from other ships can show what is where before you get there as well for some more variety. A popup window would be useful as well when hovering over the icon, but it would quickly get cumbersome after extensive exploration.
Also, maybe add programmable Robot behavior added in somehow. Maybe a fifth part that can be added to the bot, such as AI chips. More advanced chips add things like firing range, search patterns, when to go after a health drop, targeting behavior, such as attack weakest in range, or nearest or most damaged or most damageable (can inflict the most amount of damage) Being able to adjust and set some behavior parameters would help immensely and add great playability. lvl100+ item maybe?
Since the stat Shot Speed is how rapidly the weapon fires, maybe it should be changed to Fire Rate instead. Shot speed makes it sound like how fast the round fires, since some weapons have rounds that move faster than others.
PPI production is stuck at 10.4. I got it to that point fairly quickly, and currently have 945.64 mi. Currently, going post physical with 4.85 billion, shows that it will remain at 10.4. Is that the limit or a bug?
Here is the issue with the search parties having such a low survival rate. Hover your mouse over the Flashlight icon above the search party group. It will tell you that Melee people increase the survivability of the search parties. To keep everyone alive, only put those that have a good melee and good search into the group. Putting more people in just increases the chance that they will be attacked and only 3 people with 2 for melee and search is an effective group.
Also, allowing people to use tracks they don't own would be good too. The current setup allows people to simply buy a piece of track that a station sits on and troll everyone, preventing anyone from making any trains to that station. Unless I am just missing something.
QBas, thank you for the great ideas. I think I might do a bit better in terms of making game more "social". You are right about the trolling. Luckily, there is still a lot of free rails over the world.
Ideas to add. A "next station" button that when you click on a piece of rail, it will find the next available station along the line. A "Nearest Station" button that when clicked will show all nearby stations. Finding a station can be quite difficult. Also, an option to rent space in an owned station will really open up a station for use for more people and allow a much more integrated and thriving community, while preserving the owners control. This would allow people to have lines in areas they want, but are already bought up.
yugioh54444, these tutorials are to teach someone how to create a side scrolling flash game. Then, with a little creativity, you can creat others all on your own. oh, and there is a site... *the* that provides free *pirate* fully functional demos *bay* for whatever your looking for *.com* its a peer to peer, and I recommend Bittorrent as the primary downloader. VLC for the movies, Winrar for zips, and Deamon tools lite for the virtual drive. once ya get going, its really pretty simple. later yall
it helps to not fire all 3 element arrows at the same time, stagger them evenly for much greater effect. long, but good game. The End... never touched my castle.
when you zoom out, you can look at what every station is selling, ships and all.
