Good mix between Arkanoid style game, tetris and shooter.
But few aspects shall be highlighted: 1. Game too easy 2. Graphic improvement really required 3. Reward for combo breaker to be applied
Not really anything new for an instance game. Crafting system is 10 years old. Buying system is the classic pay per win something that is not really related on skin. Be a ranged character that is supposed to kite is a nightmare based on the fact the creature will disappear if carried over a long corridor. Melee characters are too way useless in party due to the absorption of all projectile damage. Positioning system is something that shall be improved if you want to use the unitc/environment collide system. The music is boring. And in the end, there is not anything worth to buy for real money.
Try better, try harder.
Another P2W game that is in line with the most one star games in kongregate.
Does it takes so long for developers to understand that a game, in order to be loved and payed from customers, shall be first played in the deep?
The game is graphically good, but lacks on three different important things for a MMO strategy game and have the wort choice a developer can do in order to make a game willing to be played:
Everything is related to Energy. Energy is related to time and OFC money.
Paying for energy doesn't makes you play really often, but just to have a ridiculous progress in the game that makes paying for energy even more unworth.
Then it comes the lacks
1. Total lack of strategy if everything is based on energy to do a single move.
2. Total lack of team-willing-synergy if you need to continue grind souls and try to capture them then (always energy based)
3. Total lack of involvement in the ranking ladder that makes the rank up useless.

Energy problem was fixed. You can get unlimited energy, you just need to complete levels without casualties. But even if you fail to beat theme, you can gather reward for simple quests, that gives you free energy. Also you have a lot more maximum capacity so you can test more tactics and lose much more energy on it.
Test new gameplay and have fun!
Good sequel of the first one, the only aspect that makes this4/5 is the upgrade system that doesn't give you the power you are paying for.
There must be also passive crew abilities instead of actives that mostly are "faceroll" key to push.

Kingdom Rush clone with extreme money grabbing system that makes this game absolutely bad and Kongregate supporters even more bad.
Please seriously consider to shoot down this kind of game and let facebook to provide space for them as the lamers are there for that reason.

The game becomes very boring after a while. Content missing.
There is not anything to do but do base raids in order to upgrade your command center.
The randomness of the loot makes the grinding frustrating and without any sense.

The rating of this game is low for the following reasons:
1. First of all Niky Tesla deserves a generally speaking better game.
2. The upgrade system is not worth to have 2 paths (Summoner path does not help to go further in the waves and bossfights are only destoryer based)
3. Towers are basically useless and uncontrollable, not even capable to stop enemies even if full upgraded. A decent tower defense requires a decent targeting system.
4. The music is really bad, repetitive and annoying (even not good cycled) for a 2014 game
5. The Graphic reminds me old style 32bit games.
