Kudos to EdibleCastle for acknowledging a particularly frustrating segment and not being too self-important to help out his gamers. Any dev who would rather help me through a difficult part than let commenters do the work for him is OK in my book.
Pity that turning up the speed reduces tower accuracy. No, not a pity ... poor development. Turning up the speed is supposed to increase the time elapse rate, like watching the game in fast-forward ... not give the enemies an advantage.
Pity the slope breaks if the cursor goes beyond the Flash window ... most other games don't have that problem; should be easy enough to program around....
To clarify, my dino will sometimes speed up and sometimes slow in situations NOT affected by in-game encounters (difficult terrain, meteors, speed boost, etc.) — something I encounter with most Flash games and can only be linked to the busy-ness of my processor. However, regardless of what happens with my dinosaur, the doom still approaches at the same rate — so that if my dino is encountering lag (running slow on flat or downhill ground), the doom quickly overtakes him.
Heh, oh, and apparently Steve has to go *into* the bank BEFORE talking to Gramps in the park ... otherwise an annoying little bug in the program thinks you can't afford a 300¢ hacking device with 800¢ :-P
OK, yeah ... not amazing, but not too bad of a game ... but there's no way to save progress ... and it takes so freaking long to get through >.<
I don't have the time to sit around through miles of dialogue and cut scenes I've seen before ... 2/5
OMW I FREAKING LOVE THE CARD DESCRIPTION!
Sorry for the caps, I got excited O:-)
...that IS what the Second Amendment means, ya know ;-) ... none of this "guns for hunting only" shit :-P
