Good job! 5/5. One question: Have you played Fire Emblem? Because the recruiting aspect is quite similar...although the combat is completely different.
Did you guys know you can actually toggle between active abilities with one click of your mouse? The game doesn't make it obvious but if you paid attention to the little icon you'd notice it changes every time you click without fully charging. So the game doesn't 'do it for you'
I think it would be better if you had to specialise the ducks. Like after the 3rd round set a specialisation and raise the cap for that ability and lower the cap for the others. It makes the races more interesting when your duck lags behind then zooms forward when it gets to its specialty. Perhaps you could also have accessories/achievements for raising one specialty to completion - then people would want to replay to gain the other specialties.
Gameplay was decent, but a little more interaction could have been better. Graphics are in desperate need of an upgrade, and it would be nice to actually see your drill getting improved. Needs better music too.
I think one thing you could do is let the player buy materials. I always had too much money and too few materials. And if you let the player buy mats, he can avoid dungeons altogether, so he could focus entirely on the non-combat skills, which would open up more endings etc.
Music can be turned off at the main menu - you need to quit first.
Finished with Royal Associate (tier 5) 185214. Anyone know what the highest tier is?
I'm stuck on the preloader minigame, and i've gone up to 250 and nothing. the loading bar on the bottom has been stuck for a long time. Also refreshed the page, but no luck.
nice game, but the controls are frustrating and terribly loose. The worst thing is if you get blasted and end up facing the wrong, since steering backwards is exactly the opposite of what it should be! Controls are paramount in a racing game, and they were screwed up here. Nevertheless a good game otherwise.
sometimes the % counter can be a bit of letdown, though. eg on lvl 19, I finished the level even though I had yet to draw the 'trunk' of the xmas tree.
Needs to be three or more touching! :)
