The post below me is wrong, the developer (Lucas Paakh, you can find him on Facebook) is working on the third serialization of the game, which seems to be open-world and 3D. You can find sneak peeks he's posted on his Facebook, and he PLANS on releasing after some testing THIS YEAR, at latest, Fall of 2023.
