The sound and the music are actually very enjoyable to listen to in their own right. I just wrote 500 words with it in the background and it was enjoyable. Now to dominate this game!
This is probably one of my favorite games I have played on Kongregate, but the lacking of a barter system or a real use for all the stuff I find is somewhat disheartening. With a few touch ups this game could be legendary.
A simple way to streamline combat would be to set up an auto attack system. 9/10 I am pressing the most likely to hit attack option. Something that that you could set on or off that would attack with your last attack, (say...every three seconds), would makes this game much more enjoyably.

After I select a race (Arkadian) and finalize the hair/beard, it freezes after I press "continue" (right beneath the skin tone). This happening with anyone else?

This Game is fantastic, and while it plays on the funny quirks and mechanics of RPG's past, it is extremely fun and you can tell it's unique by the care the creator put into it. Thank you.
