Balance problem: it looks like you can get tons of crystals by staying very near the surface - basically only click on the shallowest possible tiles (at 1 energy cost each) unless there are lots of dots (in which case go a little deeper). The energy regen you get for finding the crystals seems to be almost enough to counteract the negligible digging cost. (I only tested this for a few hundred - this is not actually fun to do.)
This strategy sounds like it might work early on, but I think it would quickly fall behind just digging deeper since you need millions of crystals to complete the game. I think I'm okay with players doing this if that is really how they want to play, like you said, it is boring, so I hope not too many people waste their time like that. Let me know if you think it is a bigger problem than that though.
I like playing against humans but not the AI (it's too easy). However once I'm matched with the AI, I don't want to concede because I'll lose rank. There should be a way to refuse getting matched up with the AI.
Wonderful puzzle game; I want to try using it to teach kids to program.
Haven't found a way to ace level 19 yet, but given that you can get 10 points for 15 boxes, I'm pretty happy with my 13 box / over 9000 step solution.
maplemafioso: in response to "what is this ne 1 2 3 4 thing asd was good enough," you can change it to asdf if you want by clicking on that option in the lower right hand corner after you choose a song.
Physical attacks that have changed their type (i.e. through Helene's Enchant Blade) still activate Tafari's Leafy Trap. Also, why is it that some items like the Reinforced Breastplate increase their respective stats and make them turn green, but the General's Insignia increases the damage without adding 6 to the number shown and turning it green?
It would be nice if a player could see his own win/loss ratio. Also, the one HP per turn healing seems useless (and that item that makes it 2 per turn is also useless)
