Spam boosters. Stay close to the ground, boost. You'll finish ring quests real quick. Target 1 type of resource, claim all the other cards except that one. Values are 20, 50, 100, 300, 600 (all I've found so far). Repeat as desired for a huge spam of resources.
You don't need to reach the moon by day 2. Radar 3 + Fuelsucker is important, you hit platforms and it gives you more fuel, slowly climb up that way, hope for a few purple ones, you're off to mars.
