I think it would be neat to be able to choose the selection criteria (upgradable!). For example, maybe I want it to seed each new round with the best distance from the previous 5 rounds, the longest time pack leader of the previous round, and the longest time alive of both the past 3 and past 10 rounds. Having that option would make it possible to both avoid losing learning progress after bad RNG in a single round, *and* give more ability to encourage significant change if it feels stuck at a single corner for too long. For more advanced upgrades, the magnitude of randomness might also be nice.

Dying or trying to return to the main menu from options isn't working for me, even after disabling FF's built-in tracking protection, HTTPS everywhere, etc. Seeing a few other recent comments, I wonder what everyone in those two groups has in common? Is it a Firefox issue? A specific-verion-of-windows issue? about:config setting? I guess the first question to figure out is whether anybody has the game working on Firefox, and whether anyone has the game broken on other browsers. (after writing the above, I tried using the flash right-click menu to navigate between scenes. Going back then forward returned to the main menu, and future runs remembered collected petals, but the count on the hat page remained 0, and I didn't see any badge progress, beyond a bit from many years ago. Which reminds me, perhaps the presence or absence of old data affects playability, too. For comparison, I don't believe I had save data on this PC but do have old high score/badge progress)

The game currently has the common accidental feature where after you click a button once, you can hold enter to repeatedly oress it, faster even than any autoclicker could manage. Prior to the skip rebalance, it made progression absurdly fast after a certain point. And yet getting those last few legendary items seemed extremely improbable, though I stopped bothering and reset at level 900 with 5 missing.

At some point, atom gains start growing faster and faster, until it hits NaN. At that point, until you reload the page, you can buy as much Atomic Alignment as you care to click. You might want to either cut back the scaling at some point, use a bignum library of some sort (assuming that the NaN is a result of overflowing some value to Infinity, around 1e308 IIRC), or incorporate it into progression somehow (for example, SCB transitions to a new set of currencies by the time sand and castle income reaches Infinity).

Mana shield's description says the cooldown is 45 - 3p, but hovering over it at the bottom, it appears to be 50 - 3p. One of them must be incorrect...

Quite fun, despite the times where more than one solution would work. Being able to play a practically unlimited number of games, even 32x32 (which would be a huge pain to verify manually) certainly makes it all worth it, in my opinion.

Actually, I just tried with a fiery tyrant, it did breathe fire, along with the other two attack types (tail, bite). (same for a reclusive watcher, though it took a while before it used fire).

Please, *don't* gray out tried reactions, I want to benefit from using it in a game, and if you use it, too, then I won't be able to profit from the publicity of having a better interface than Doodle God! (Since this is the internet, I must point out that this is mainly humour, and an attempt to get them to add what would have been a useful feature two games ago, and by now is more of a critical feature to maintain the player base)

First reaction to the ? circles was to click them. Though I quickly noticed that they are used by hovering, it would make the game just a little bit easier to start playing if they also responded to clicks as well.

Poor, cluttered interface. 2/5. The quest reward popup text is the worst, it just gets in the way. If it had a solid semitransparent background, and was in a less central location (and a few sizes smaller, perhaps?), then it wouldn't blend in with the other text on the screen. If it was well-placed, it wouldn't obscure anything important at all.

It seems that a lot of developers neglect to deal with onDragOver and onDragOut (or equivalent). If you click and drag off the slime, the popup doesn't disappear, and if you click and drag over it from somewhere else on the screen, it won't appear unless you release the mouse button. Don't worry, though, Anti-Idle has the same problem in one area, so it's a common oversight.

(Continued due to letter count) Actually, I just realized something: This game deserves 5/5, for it's wonderful parody of the current major game industries. Take a game, any game, alter the main characters, toss in graphical flair and the current most well-known physics engine while discarding the older code and graphics, even though it was far better than the new stuff, remix the music to something that vaguely resembles a major theme of the earlier games but in the process making something that has no value of it's own, toss in USA military stereotypes for good measure, cut the better comedy, and finally put it in a fancy box and double the price.

I thought it was going to be good, considering the previous games, but it turns out that it was ruined: The music isn't nearly as good as before, the art has declined, the "physics" is worse, as clearly all they cared about was that you could interact with dangling objects while ignoring the fact that you can climb a vertical wall on the roof of your tank. You no longer bounce slightly when hitting the ground, and the ground is always flat, except during bosses. The first boss was nonsense, the voice acting and dialogue was terrible. The "challenge" design of the levels made absolutely no sense. Oh, and whatever happened to unlockable rewards as you get achievements? After continuing to play, nothing improved. Adventure mode is a series of minigames with perhaps one decent boss at the end. The art continued to sit somewhere between a children's show(and not a particularily good one) and a colourful scribble. I could do better with 5 minutes in MSPaint for windows 3.1.
