Not sure how I'm supposed to get enough material to make the jump. Is there something I'm missing? I've reached the core, but my collection of the clear box material is super slow at best. I basically jsut hit launch and have to walk away and hope for the best.
The moving ingredients is a dumb way to get a randomized element into the game. Also, during the launch and fly portion of the game, why are power-ups only available at the very lowest levels of the playing field? Why aren't monetary pick-ups not available at the very highest reaches?
Not really digging controlling the guy with a mouse in this type of game. I would think that WASD or arrow keys would be better. At least give the option.
That was a neat game with all the items and costumes. I wish there had been a better way to see bonuses and such. The lag (even after it was claimed to be fixed) was also pretty bad. Still, great concept. Hope to see it improved upon for the sequel.
Just beat the game with 100%. Some tips. The bow will take you through the while game easily. 1.max out Eagle Eye and tap Z to activate. This will allow you to see all markers (stashes, workers, etc). Then max out agility. Maxed out agility combined with the bow makes you unhittable. light armor most of the game until I unlocked the warplate armor. If you're having trouble unlocking quarters, make sure the quarters adjacent to it have no threat level. This unlocked them for me. I also had trouble finding the Master of Wisdon. I basically did a patrol in each sector until I found him. Once you get Grab, max it out, and build your exp in it, you can just sit back and let trolls do all your work. I pitched in to speed things along. Game was slow to get going because up front resources are scarce, but once you get going, you will have more resources than you know what to do with. Money became a little tight for me, but if I hadn't spent money on weapons I never used, it wouldn't have.
I have towers in the first four locations, yet can't seem to unlock a fifth for some reason. Also, cannot find the master of wisdom. He's not in the location he's supposed to be in (central quarter, outskirts, upper right).
This would be neat if a few things were improved. One, it's too hard to see obstacles. They're too similar to the rest of the environment. I got a little better at spotting them over time, but not much. Second (and most frustratingly), the controls are not very responsive. For instance, when one volley of arrows is blocked and another one is sent at you immediately after, it's difficult to block because you're still in the slow-mo of the last volley. Things like that feel cheap.
