This is a great game.
@Artemis0Entreri: Both of those things already exist in game. WASD moves the camera, and dragging the mouse directly over the unit you selected cancels your attack.
It was a sub-par platformer, though the graphics were good.
What really bothered me about this was that you drew a single giant picture of each monster, and then besides an extremely small amount of animation that serves no purpose to the gameplay, every creature was completely static.
The thing that bothers me the most about this game, though, is how it seems like everyone that likes it has never heard of Shadow of the Colossus. People are saying things about how original it is. I quote: "I have never seen that type of game before."
I'm probably going to be lost in the post archives if not rated down by people who liked this, but I simply find it insulting that this is presented as an alternative to SotC for people who haven't played it.
My biggest complaint would be that scooter kids, once latched onto my truck, are magically out of my range of fire. The instant one latches on, it's only a matter of time before I die.
If you do make a full game out of this, you should add some puzzles where you HAVE to be in the light to avoid being shot, or have to keep the light off of the guns. Very fun.
Great feel, good gameplay. This is the type of game I've been looking for for a while- a one-level metroidvania. Reminds me of Super Stickman Escape, but far better.
Doesn't deserve to be this high ranked. The art was fantastic, yes, but am I the only one who felt the 3D stuff felt COMPLETELY out of place with those backgrounds? Plus there was no actual game. Dunno if you guys have noticed, but normally games devoted to plot at least have SOME kind of gameplay... and the plot wasn't great either. This whole thing would have made a much better short video than game.
