Yes, I am upgrading and evolving the cards and their equipment. The problem is that I don't have a lot of equipment (nobody has a full set and one doesn't have any) because I'm not getting the equipment drops, and I am also not getting the drops needed to upgrade said cards and equipment.
2 star equipment is as common as muck, you should be able to kit out your entire team no problem.
Then spend as much Soul Coins as you like to upgrade because you get them all back when selling the equipment anyway ;)
Always take a tough friend to battle too. They're very useful.

I'm not a huge fan of grinding, especially when it's just random amounts of loot. Mainly because if I can't readily upgrade my characters after replaying levels, then the grinding isn't really grinding, it's playing the same levels over and over with no increase in power. I'm just saying that the power levels of the enemy has huge jumps.
Also, killing an enemy doesn't fully charge your fury like the Wiki says, it gives you 95 points.
As mentioned, I don't even know WHY you're grinding being hardly any distance into the game. I literally cannot fathom why you have encountered a wall so soon!?!? And we give away SO MUCH more stuff now than we did when I started testing it.
You're upgrading AND evolving right? And you're doing the same to your weaponry?
@Spicyhorse
I've been upgrading, but the amount of materials I get isn't enough to fully upgrade them without grinding. I breezed through the first three dungeons, but then my power isn't high enough to do anything else but grind those three dungeons.
Also, there're some bugs that I posted in the forums about fury and heal rates.
You really shouldn't be too worried about that lack of materials and grinding when you're only 3 dungeons in. I remember not hitting a bit of a wall until the end of the Nestorats stage and the game was a LOT harder back then too :D
Sounds like you need to work on your strategy. Have you been upgrading your Disciples and their Skills as you move through the game? Constant effort towards their power as a team is critical. If you fail in this, progress will become difficult or impossible. Might make sense to ask other players for tips on how best to manage your team?
Really? You might need to be doing more of the 'other stuff' than just the main story. I seem to remember getting all the way up to the end of Nestorats before grinding.
The main problem of this game is that your soldiers will walk right into where danger will happen. The melee guys have to attack the armory, and once they destroy it, the flying swords kill them.
