Now the restart key work when you die or finish a level.
You can also push left or D to go the level selection screen.
I will test with controls less slippery and see if it don't ruin the game difficulty.
I will test also with overlaping for a short time, but I'm not sure it's what I want for this game.
Thanks for your input :)
The slippery controls are annoying as is the lack of keyboard restart and next level controls. My main problem is the precise timing needed for the jumps. I would either get caught in the appearing land or try to jump just as the land disappeared under me.
Hello, it's R to restart, and now you can use the wasd key as well as the arrow keys.
And yeah, the game is hard. I wanted it like that but what do you think can make it less harder?
Get rid of the spinning Hit and Miss animations. Lower the points needed to increase the aiming skill. Maybe have a skill tree. Include some elements or player based influence.
It doesn't take long for the clicks to become unimportant.
The mage is the most important, since healing damage is more important than dealing it.
The rouge is largely useless because of slow upgrade levels.
I might have to bump up the click damage with an update! I don't agree about the rogue being useless though.. His poision damage when upgraded can deal out very high damage very fast, especially on bosses!
Hey Radar, the game itself is a piece of University coursework and we need to collect some data from individual testers. There's a mix of the fact we don't want to collect information without your knowledge (basic things such as time taken to do X) and that we have to ensure we have direct contact with anyone playing the game before it's full release :)
Screen too big, text too slow, otherwise a very creepy lesson. Too bad your choices don't really do anything. That's why this isn't a game. You give us choices, but they aren't choices, they're just links to the next page.
Thanks for commenting! I lowered the screen height -- hopefully that helps? And I was hoping the charged, anthemic opening music (!) would preoccupy those who found the text too slow...
On the choices? Lack of time meant sparser prose, basically.
Honestly, much about this game embarrasses me now. I just keep it up because I still really like the music I wrote.
