5 uhm... $ for the marketing strategy but 1 star for the game. A story with no conclussion is a poor story. And the first chunk of the game does not stand on its own in the least, having no propr ending and all.
All I did was spam my way through the game. Maybe it was not how it's supposed to be played, but it worked for me. The AI just freezes when all player cells are only at 1 or 2 capacity and the screen is filled with nano-thingies. Resitence is futile, I reckon.
The logics behind Phage Wars was cell division, correct? And that's fine in that game in the sense that units in one cell are divided by two, half stay, half go. But little people should be more receptive to commands than cells. So it would be nice if you had the choice to actually select how many of them to move and how many to leave behind. I do realise this would hold back the game speed a bit, but it might do wonders for the strategy (less boredom).
Although the sillyness of it all is indeed surprising it could do with some final polishing, imo. Selling birds for more upgrades or other traps would be nice, so far it seems like it's somehow unfinished. 2 stars.
