IT used to be where there were crystal drops, but they got rid of thoes and then added what would have been dropped into the battle fund. They did this because some people were saying that their teammates wouldn't fight, just go after crystals.

We had crystal drops before and, although it may seem nice and fun, people often forgot about the flags, teammates and even enemies when chasing these boxes. Some battles were full of players who didn't care about anything but drops - this is not what Tanki Online should be like. Imagine yourself, hoping to enter a short firece battle, but playing with teammates who're not interested in the team's victory. It kills gameplay, so the feature will not be returned.
