What track are you using for music? You've probably got this on the docket, but adding a credits screen might be nice so we learn more about you and the source of free assets you used. Nice game!
It seems like the max button goes off the original price of the item, not the price discounted with the omega upgrade. I often have to click multiple times before I can't buy any more. Thanks for the new next button, by the way!
Loved it! Mostly. The reason why the game seems so slow despite being an hour long is that you're mixing idle-game resource generation pacing with the need to constantly clear out the attackers. It's not too long, it's too monotonously active. Either mix up the defense strategy more or really speed up stone production. But thanks for making a great game!
You need gold *AND* credits to buy the multipliers, if anyone is curious. BugNinja, that's something that you might want to clarify or make more clear.
Great game. I *love* all the descriptive story and options. Just thought I'd let you know of a couple misspellings I noticed: During the Goblin Diplomat mission in Gob'klak, "negociate" should be spelled "negotiate". Possible typo: "defense" in the US, "defence" everywhere else.
Pretty sure this is a bug... Rather than using the key on the cage, I first tried cooking it in the water. It worked, got a prawn. Unexpected, to say the least. Couldn't finish as a result.
Thanks for the great game! I'm a huge incremental fan, and there are lots of really neat innovations in this game. A couple feature suggestions for the knowledge tab:
1) A "learn max" button for each element (or the whole board) would save me the 50 clicks per element. Usually not an issue, but all those clicks add up for the transition metals especially.
2) Navigation by arrow would help make it more fun to browse and learn about the elements, especially when finding info for objectives.
3) A filter to display certain info (like the objective information feature on the main screen) would be nice in the knowledge tab. Say, click electronegativity and that info replaces the elemental symbols or pops up on mouseover - only for fully researched elements of course. Having mouseover only with an extractor placed on the main screen is annoying.
4) Perhaps a wiki link for certain elemental attributes? An electronegativity value is meaningless when you don't understand what it represents.
If you're going to say "Unbelievable" that many times, you should just change it to "Inconceivable" and make it a Princess Bride reference. Because you keep saying that word. I don't think that word means what you think it means.
To echo other's comments, the controls are terrible. Two hands are required on the keyboard, and then you are required to use the mouse as well. WASD should be optional. Also, an autofire toggle key (rather than holding down the spacebar incessantly) would be nice.
It would be nice if there were some sort of overall upgrade system, to give more motivation to keep playing. As it was, it's an OK game. I love the pixel art.
Thanks for your feedback! The game has now been updated to version 1.1 based on feedback, hopefully it will make it more fun!
