There's a problem with the combination for the chest in veraces. You're supposed to count the number of flowers, cacti, and signs to get the combination, but the number is wrong. The first digit is 6, but there are only 5 flowers in town. Looking through the comments, A LOT of people seem to be having trouble because of this.
IMHO this isn't as good as SCGMD2. The way that the music comes to a halt whenever you miss a key tends to kill any grove the player is in, and makes it less enjoyable overall to people like me who aren't very good at rhythm games.
while good on their own, the best part of these games is actually the combinations that the players make up themselves. Some of the better ones should be in the sequel.
oh, and magic + weapon should = Excalibur.
okay, these people are seriously to dumb to live. When frightened they will almost always run further into the house and jump out a window rather than go down the stairs to the exit. even on the rare instance when they do go downstairs they always run away from the door unless immediately scared into panic by the bear.
Truly a great game with a lot of replay value.
That said I did encounter a strange scenario where one of the castles was on a separate path on the overworld that didn't connect to the main path. I've played through a few times and only seen that happen once though.
6,000 feet? Seriously? Clearly there's some trick to this that I'm just not getting because it took me 134 day, full upgrades, and prayers to a previously unknown god of flight to be able to just barley eek out 4,000.
I loved this! The gameplay was solid, and the story was well told. I did feel that it was a little short, but sometimes it's better to know when to leave your audience craving more. Overall this is a great game.
There are six, the quarry to the east belongs to the town. I know it may be a little misleading.
