I definitely think the fighting could have been a little more complex. For a game that took two years to make, you'd think button mashing wouldn't equal skill. Good try though.
4000 hit points? That's it? Mine has 60,000 (no joke), and I've been playing this game for about 40 minutes.
This isn't bragging, it's pointing out how far one can advance against the computer so quickly. The skill involved at this point is nil.
Way too easy. Really. Why is it that the best weapon in the game isn't the most expensive?
The laser can is only 3000 exp., while the GAU-8 is 9000 exp? The laser owns the GAU-8 because of the exp power ups.
Wow, that was interesting. The key code was a nice touch, I probably never would have got it if I didn't read the comments below.
For those struggling there is a walk through out there.
This game is so incredibly easy. Never lost a life, hardly got hit. All it takes is shield. The thing never wears out, never runs out of energy, it's invincible.
Just get the shield, set it up, and stay behind it as much as possible until you get it to level three. At that point you can make it cover the whole mission area. Yeah. The only thing that can hit you is a laser. Period.
I really identified with my character. :) The problem with abstract characters though is when they are too abstract they can be misunderstood. For example when I was to pick a character for the first time I chose the brown guy because I thought the yellow was a girl. I'm not a girl, so I identify with the brown guy more.
I enjoyed the music also, but what I don't like is you have to lose once before you can turn it off. That option at the beginning would have been a lot better.
I agree with diesel. Some additions like developing immunities, or power ups would have helped.
@drownloader, in the upper right corner there is a volume switch.
