Great game. Went through the entire game without encountering any glitches or bugs that I see so many people complaining about. Well there was one that I recall. Its only when you get those drones that shoot...sometimes the bullets would freeze in mid air because you killed the target before their bullets could reach the target. Its a very minor bug and it never hindered the game.
It would've been cool though if we didn't have to re-upgrade from scratch every time we moved on to a new stage. Most of the weapons cost an arm and a leg. By the time you can afford one, you're already at the last round of that stage. All that work for 1 round isn't really worth it. All around though this game is awesome!
The style and art are great. The game play lacks a lot though. The commands don't always register about 90% of the time. You find yourself just getting using one special move you can do all the time and use that to win all the battles...but hey how many of these types or games are actually good on PC? Yeah exactly.
Very easy since it lets you restart almost right where you just died. Not difficult at all but it does require you to have good timing to get pass some areas.
Finally completed all the badges. Overall this game is pretty good. I'm not even a fan of these types of games but this one definitely was a lot of fun. The overall pace of the game is pretty fast once you get a hang of it. That is probably one of the main things why I don't mind it at all. I don't remember there being much a story really, come to think about it...what the heck was that game all about? Anyway it doesn't really matter cause the concept was done very well. Most of the challenges are fairly easy with a little bit of luck. However you'll need luck and a little prayer to get pass Challenge 15. That one was definitely the hardest one.
Great game and a lot of fun. Brilliant concept for a game. Great sound effects. However just as you've gotten the hang of tossing the guys from afar and into your nest.. it won't be long till you realize that's all there is to the game. There are really only 10 levels and they are not that difficult. Good thing the game will let you continue you on and basically set a highscore. Once you get pass level 10 you'll unlock City. Which is basically a time trial to see how much score you can rack up within a period of time. It's not as fun compared to tossing the feeble humans into a nest of hungry baby eagles...but its alright. Despite the short game play its still a well made game.
Great game and quite challenging for the most part. Minor glitches or rather unusual placement of pieces seem to work in some stages. One thing for instance, I found that certain pieces are able to be lodged within starting platforms for certain levels. That actually helped me finish a few stages rather quickly. I highly doubt that was intended to happen. Nevertheless the glitches are so minor that you'd easily over look it. Some people found this game a little too hard but I think its perfect the way it is when it comes to difficulty. Well done!
Old school space shooter feel. The game isn't too difficult. The controls are simple and straight forward. The graphics are well done and well stylized. The enemies really made me reminisce about games such as Space Invaders. Sound effects were well done. Music? Tell you the truth I don't recall much music in this game. I however recall a lot of annoying beep and blip sounds that could of resembled something like music. Overall the game does hold some entertainment value. There are a good variety of weapon upgrades and bonuses to keep the game fresh. Some people complain that the game is too long but I think its perfect. Expect to playing for at least 30 mins in order for completion. As for the key reconfiguration option, I didn't find it either. =P
This game lacked depth. Very little strategy needed. Just make sure you have enough resources to build what you want, full upgrades but even I don't think it's necessary. Energy and raw material was my main objective throughout the game. Line up turrets and Tesla's along the perimeter. Then go surf the net or grab a drink. Check back once in awhile to hit skip when those boring dialogue pops up and let it continue.
I know what you mean Mondo E. The only way to remotely get anywhere in this game is to get your ball spiked. Then just try your best to stay in the middle of the beam and pop all the other balls that come near you. I try not to get any items as well once I'm spiked just incase I lose it. There is an element of luck involved obviously.
The game overall is pretty good for a turn based RPG type game. However the voice acting was horrible which made me skip through a lot of the spoken dialogues hence then omitting the entire storyline.
