Rogue Quest - Episode 2 is decently enjoyable.
Visuals: Mix of static background and very cool characters except the gnome. He looks a little bit ugly.
Audio: Here lies a big problem. First the music sounds familiar, second the transition between one track and the other is not well implemented.
Story: Even though this is episode 2 it feels like one story arc and that is pretty good. Nicely done.
Controls: Point and click. Hotboxes of the objects could be slightly bigger though.
Gameplay: It's a point and click game with a somehow engaging story and no moon-logic at all. This makes the game somehow enjoyable. The element of choice could be improved though. With meaningful dialog and actual dialog choices that have a impact on the story.
Rated P for its's actually pretty good.
Thank you very much! :) We know we're still far from perfection, but we'll try harder and harder, to make better games! We're glad your overall rating is pretty good, anyway, and we hope you'll like our others adventures as well!
Effing Worms is pretty short.
Visuals: Some kind of cartoonish style. I think the background looks good. The stick figures and the vehicle models are okay. I liked it but they do look a little wank.
Audio: Fitting but boring or annoying after 5 min.
Story: Giant worm attacks a city. Not much to it.
Controls: WASD to control and it actually works.
Gameplay: Enjoyable for you 5 min. Then the game ends. The core gameplay is here but the game just lacks content.
Rated L for Lacking content.
Diggy tricked me.
Visuals: Not very nice and the main character looks like an minion.
Audio: Meh. Mainly because of the performance.
Story: Excuse for drilling into the earth.
Controls: Aim, Click, Move. Nothing to f**k up here.
Gameplay: Boring. What keeps you playing is the upgrade system and the discoveries you make inside the earth. I must admit the game tricked me hard into playing until the 'end'.
Conclusion:
Rated G for gatch ya.
RIN (Rest in Nightmare) is pretty good for a Demo.
Visual: I kind of like this style but it looks a little wank.
Audio: I don't know I think it was bugged for me.
Story: You are in hell? You fight demons? Listen it does not relly matter in this case.
Controls: Very tight. Move WASD, aim and shoot with mouse.
Gameplay: Fun for the demo. I don't know if this could hold up as a whole game. The gameplay doesn't feel forced, it's just really, really nice.
Conclusion:
Rated B for I would buy it.
Sword and Spoon is fun for the first act.
Visuals: I kind o like the pixel style. Could be a little bit better.
Audio: Okay, I guess. Didn't seem to fit.
Story: ???
Controls: Click, Upgrade, Click
Gameplay: Interesting for the first 5 min. Then it's just repeat. You find available strategies but most of the time you will run the same strategy.
Conclusion:
Rated D for rapid deflation after the first act.
The King's League: Odyssey is pretty fun and lackluster.
Visuals: Pretty standard. I like the colors and the character models. The rest is just okay.
Audio: Seems out of place. Not that it is bad. It is just not good.
Story: Something with a king and you have to beat him. Boring.
Controls: Click, Click your way through menus.
Gameplay: Upgrade. Buy. Manage. Train. Very basic and kind of fun even though something seems to be off. You are not really playing a game if you catch my drift.
Conclusion:
Rated I for I have no idea whether to like or dislike this game.
Flight is okay
Visuals: It's alright. Pretty standard but good use of color.
Audio: Pretty catchy songs. They get annoying really fast.
Story: No idea. Really I have no idea but there is a story.
Controls: click & throw. Move with direction keys and space bar is boost. Standard controls.
Gameplay; Pretty standard. There is nothing cool or great or new. It's is just simply okay. I have no idea how to make it fun.
Conclusion:
Rated A for pretty average.
Questmore is like book missing all the pages.
Visuals: Very nice. The use of the industrial theme with brown and grew colors is quite nice.
Audio: No sound or my game is bugged.
Story: Not really sure but I guess there is nothing.
Controls: Click, Click, Click through menus. Very meta.
Gameplay: Boring as hell. You can play the game without having to wait but this doesn't make the game better. It's another one of this games that you click on something and then wait for a million hours. Very boring.
Conclusion:
Rated R for Repeat, Repeat, Repeat...
Circuit is exactly what it says it is.
Visuals: Minimalistic
Audio: None?
Story: Definitly none
Controls: Click
Gameplay: Well I found myself solving the puzzles without really thinking about it, wich is the reason behind my minimalistic review. It's actually a pretty good game. It's way too short and I wasn't really enjoying myself.
Conclusion:
Rated P for "Hey it is a puzzle game".
Infectonator 2 doesn't need upgrades.
Visuals: Meh. I like pixel-art but this is just ugly.
Audio: Well a little bit too retro and annoying but it's okay.
Story: Nope. It more and situation. Even when you 'finish' the game nothing happens.
Controls: Click, Click, Click. There is nothing to f**k up here.
Gameplay: Boring and that is because of the upgrade system. The game is a puzzle game, unfortunately it throws useless upgrades that just prolongs the gameplay.
Conclusion:
Rated S for stop putting useless upgrades in your game.
Home Strory: 1971 is conflicting.
Visuals: Very nice. The scenario look more like drawings then scenarios but I guess that is the intention
Audio: It cares the game, even tough more then just one slow look would be better
Story: Without spoiling it. I cried manly tears.
Controls: Point and Click.
Gameplay: Not very engaging. The last puzzle is kind of cool. everything else is pretty boring
Conclusion:
Rated E for please stop giving me emotional baggage... (cries manly tears)
Knightmare Tower
Visual: It's okay. I enjoy this specif type of style. It is a little boring.
Audio: Annoying Music Look. Had to turn it off.
Story: Save the princesses and kill some dude. Not really interesting.
Controls: Launch with space and wobble around with direction keys. It's impossible to duck this up
Gameplay: It's fun. The upgrade system is absolute none sense and there is only one boss fight. They should have focused on more bossfights and less upgrades.
Conclusion:
Rated W for Why do f**k is there only one Bossfight?
Swords & Potions 2
Visuals: Nice Art, I quite enjoy it. Could use that in other games
Audio: It's okay. Nothing too annoying
Story: Well ....
Controls: Click, Click, Click
Gameplay: Plain and simple. Its boring,
Conclusion:
Rated B for boring as f**k. OMG this is pretty boring.
Visual: Mix of static imagery in the "cutscenes" and pixel-art in the rest.
Audio: Ah nothing extraordinary
Graphics: Meh, I like it still meh.
Story: Survive through some bullshit. Seriously it's not very engaging
Controls: Walk left/right and press e and click some boxes. Solid.
Gameplay: Boring as f**k. You could turn this into a Graphical Novel and it would work better.
Conclusion:
Rated T because you have to play this game twice actually enjoy it.
Thank you very much! :) We know we're still far from perfection, but we'll try harder and harder, to make better games! We're glad your overall rating is pretty good, anyway, and we hope you'll like our others adventures as well!
