So this had some very well considered game mechanics. 1) LOVE that you put over the last teleporter "THIS WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO THE BEGINNING". Thank you for that. I remember games that wouldn't do that, so you click, because it does look like another teleporter - and now you have to do it all over again. 2) You collect ring fragments, then you collect "completed ring". You are so awesome for telling us this. 3) The game isn't impossible to figure out either. Once you collect an item, it's intuitive where it should probably go next, so you can keep interacting and progressing through the story. Extremely well done. 5/5
I got through maybe 10 minutes... this game appears to essentially be like reading a book. If I wanted to do that... I'd go read a book. It's just pointing, clicking, and talking to characters about other characters, which the game doesn't give us a reason to care about, there doesn't seem to be much here. You click on a character and there's 30 things to talk about (mostly other characters), but the player isn't given a reason to care. I got to the "nursery" and clicked on every circle (repeatedly hitting the eye at the lower right to see them all), and I'm not able to figure out how to give what to who. I basically just want to get to the next level to see if anything happens, but it will probably end up being the same. 1/5
Completely did not like this game. Half way through I was basically just clicking to get through more and more pointless dialogue so that it would finish. There's just too much text, it's too wordy, and there's no real reason for us to connect with or care about the characters. 1/5
One especially tedious thing about this game is that to get all 3 stars on some stages, the jewels have to remain *UNTOUCHED*. So you spend a lot of time and focus trying to make sure not a single ninja gets by somehow, perfectly timing the terror spell to turn them away at the last moment, spending 30 minutes on a given stage (and you're clicking "speed up" because this is taking so long) and SOMEHOW ONE SINGLE NINJA gets through, and TOUCHES a gem - and now you have to start all over.
I'm using windows 7, updated Firefox browser, but this game absolutely crashes my computer every time. Everything gets frozen and windows task manager shows that Adobe Flash Player is taking up 100k of memory... then 200k... then 300k... then I have to force shut down Firefox to regain control.
Like others have said, I don't really go for the losing belt progress when I lose. Besides, we *DIDN'T* lose. My ninjas won the battle. It's a bit off to assume I should also take 0 causalities.
On the first battle of act 2. Have given this at least 20 plays, and cant win no matter how I re-arrange things. I went on youtube to see how to win. It turns out, you have to go to "buy pack" - something not explained in the tutorial, which I thought would cost real money. I go here but don't have enough money for anything. The only way to get the 5,000 for a team of golems is to play a previous stage over and over, for 200 gold each time. When I finally *DID* get 5,000, I got 12 golems, thinking this might get me passed THE VERY FIRST STAGE of act 2. Turns out - nope. For whatever reason, I was wiped out just the same. The game had great potential, but there needs to be a way for army arrangements to be meaningful, along with upgrades along the way that make the next stage actually beatable, so long as you're using the right strategy. I guess now I'll have to replay an earlier stage 50 more times, then buy yet another pack before I have a slight chance. I'd rather move on.
Okay so I've been on *THE VERY FIRST STAGE* now for like 20 minutes, and I can barely ever get to the enemy castle. No matter how I try to spam soldiers, or what combination I use, they're *always* stopped midway by the enemy who has just as much - and is also leveling up at the same or faster rate than I am. There doesn't seem to be any way of even reaching the castle, much less doing damage. What am I not getting here??
Ugh!! It's 15 minutes and I'm still waiting to get through introduction / how-to texts. Have one or two large screens that give a basic walk through, then let us just play. I don't know if I'm going to like this game or not, so I'm not partial to sitting for this long reading instructions from tiny little boxes for this long. There's numerous items and descriptions before I even get started. And like someone else said, there's the rapid-clicking thing. I'm using a touch pad on a laptop, so this is a definite drawback. Quit before I started the first battle.
Using a touch pad on a laptop, it's just not as comfortable as it would otherwise be if I could use arrow keys, or asdw. Also, not sure if this is for anyone else, but for me the game is running really slow. Can't tell if the game was made slow, or if its just me.
This doesn't really work for me. The game is too complex, and yet the game play is just way overly simple. I recently won a battle and got some kind of sword. Okay where is it? I clicked everywhere and don't see the sword anywhere. Does it offer passive effects, or do I have to equip it? I know that I got it, because it flashed up close for one second, then... "went somewhere". The game play itself is just clicking "Go". I sometimes rearrange my characters, but just click go, and you win every battle all the time.
WHAT KIND OF BS ENDING IS THIS?????? I just finished the game and THATS the kind of ending I get for doing all that???? God you suck!! Seriously! I should at least get "A Winner Is You" or something! >:///
Upgrading your blacksmith 10 times means having to click 120 times to upgrade your entire army. That means upgrading blacksmith to even level 30 is 360 clicks to upgrade your army. After that, getting all your other buildings to level 30 means clicking 270 times. And that's only to level 30!!! Which you should be at in just an hour of play. I left the game on, went to work, came home... to finish upgrading everything I'll be clicking the rest of the evening. Just forget it.
I'm actually really waiting and hoping someone will answer my last post. I buy bullets, but the guns keep showing 0 bullets. I buy missiles and it shows 0 missiles. How do I make projectile weapons show the ammo?
Help? I bought a tri-missile launcher, then bought 50 LR missiles. I left the station but it's showing my missile launcher to have 0 missiles. I thought okay, maybe the LR missiles are somehow incompadable... so I bought regular missiles and left the station - but it's still showing my missiles to be at 0. Can someone help?
What's more the enemy just gets stronger and stronger every time, while I'm desperately trying to rehire new peasants so I can make enough gold to afford anything **besides** peasants. :/
I must be missing something. The only way I can see to increase gold rapidly is to hire peasants. I can only hire 1 or 2 per turn. Each turn someone attacks and I lose them. What are you supposed to be doing?
