Anybody who rates this game less than 5 stars has no appreciation for the amount of work that has gone into it... let alone the creativity and uniqueness. This game is on my favorites list, has been for years, and honestly is one of the best games on kongregate.
Really not as good as its predecessor. Many combinations make less sense or are repeats. Tons of things are only used once. It is like this took the old game and decided not to improve its idea at all. If you could have a lot more combinations that equal the same thing so it is like your own route to being god, then it'd be more fun. 3/5
I love the pixel characters in this game. The one thing I think would make this a lot more fun is if each character had a stamina bar limit too... so instead of casting paralyze and not being able to do anything until the blue bar disappears, have a full yellow bar and paralyze would take away so much stamina. That way you could combo, paralyze slice a couple of times, you could add in cooldowns too, but if you could actually do something other than just wait half of the time a lot of other character classes would be viable.
I'm sad. I really liked the populous games, and this game really does not live up to the legacy. No control of game speed, the controlling land dynamics are cumbersome, you cannot even chose to lower the land to sea. You can only raise lower/land based on certain points rather than a toggle and with the increased speed you really don't have time to enjoy or play God really. 2/5
god this last f'ing level, well I'm not sure if it the last, is so effing hard, getting pinballed around once essentially ensures that you will not be successful, and not getting pinballed is so luck based...
Nice concept, but to be honest, poorly executed. I mean there are good ways to make games like this, look at Sonic Spinball or the Kirby pinball games. The ball moves too unnaturally in this and it disrupts the flow of the whole game. Stages are relatively basic/bland. This made it really not fun to play. There is a lot of room for improvement but it can me done. 1/5
A wonderful game. Man I don't know how to give this the correct review... but it is just amazing. Not only is it humorous in its parody of RPGs but it synthesizes some of the best aspects from many. The leveling and skill gaining system was great. Everything was so thought out to the greatest level of depth from finding items for item creation to a really entrancing story. Man oh man, a great 32 hours of my life. Like seriously, I would have easily paid 50$ for this back in the day (when SNES-RPGs were the thing). Bravo, amazing work on this.
Wonderful game that is a spinoff of the clue finder games. A couple of things that would make it more fun though, is maybe like how portable a gun is. When you carry a pistol etc. you move way faster than with an rpg or whatnot. Also it would be nice to have harder modes with more zombies/different kinds. Still awesome though 5/5
Dammit, I hate having to replay the games to get achievements... this one is like a multi-hour little endeavor too... at least it is fun enough to replay... just by a little... maybe... maybe tomorrow...
Pretty good, the one thing I think would make this better (improve it and get it closer to canabalt's quality) is the transition from hooking the floating pads into being able to use your double jump. Maybe make it so that you press down to launch your hook or something. Because it sucks hooking something only to have epic fail happen.
Good work on the server issue, still having issues connecting to the game. My guy's name is "already taken" but I can't get on my guy. Please fix this soon.
alright, the auto-login thing is the stupidest thing I have ever seen, like honestly, when I have to try for 15 minutes to get in the same server as my friend that is freaking lame, that is the only thing that makes me want to not rate this game a 5/5
