He gives her items that show kindness and love than slowly fades every time he hands her something. She never knows that someone she may or may not know is right there helping her be happy.

Developer response from Codename_Enter We did set up our game with some of the same mechanics as Clicker Heroes, but we introduced the idea of customizing formations based on the Crusaders abilities.
