Ok, as a lot of people said, this is a very funny, nicely designed game and all. But i feel like your goal is wrong and kind of ruining it. I think if kong players ever wanted to spend money on such a game, it would be to get some kind of bonus stuff really worthing it, but not to lower negative effects, like a price barrier for upgrades, and NEVER because they are forced to do so. I think this game is really great, but obviously, you really want my cash and you made what you can to prevent me to enjoy it without it. You keep asking us how we think you could improve it but I just don't think you can, cause in a way or an other you want us to pay to play this game, and most of us don't want. If I'm mistaking (but unfortunately I don't think I am...), then remove the one-run upgrades system, or lower all those crazy prices. I really would give this game a 5/5 but you want me to pay for it so it will be 2/5.
