Frustrating game, congrats, since I'm sure that was the goal and all... just wish it didn't warrant a BotD. And medium at that. It'd be funny if it wasn't tragically frustrating :p
Started playing today, and enjoyed it. Wanted to check and see if I could get this on my phone as well, sure enough there it is. Install and go to sync it with my Kong account to continue with the progress I had already begun. And nope, not available. I can login with Facebook though, isn't that nice... why bother putting your game up on Kong if you're not going to setup your mobile to work with it? Seemed like a fun game, maybe you'll fix this at some point. In browser at least your game is based in Flash, seems that's about to die though.
Need some sort of option beyond voting 1 star... like being able to vote a game off the island or something. The demeaning comments of the "AI" aside, this was incredibly boring.
Among the various other quirky problems with the UI design, the slider to scroll down screen and see what your units are doing there, is located underneath the display for unit production. If you have that que full up with units to build, the scroll arrow doesn't respond very well.
I do not normally have issues with lag on Kong games. This one was horrible, made it nearly unplayable and managing to get the easy badge was a boring slog through the first few jumps over and over and over again. Nothing else today has had lag issues for me... just this game.
I've never before considered the difficulties, challenges nor rewards of training ducks... Now I know why. Watching paint dry is boring also, I wouldn't suggest it as a past time or hobby either.
As far as paywalls go, the paywall on this one is rather small. VIP Status is $100. I'm not likely to do that myself, but I've spent 100+ on other games I enjoy. It's a good chunk of money to spend on a few pixels, but in comparison with other games offering micro transactions, that's a relatively small bite. Not seeing the issues other folks are having with the game either. I agree the age checking when you first log in is absolutely silly. Nothing to stop someone from outright lieing about it, but sure enough, age 01 was too young to play... (uhh, ya think?). Again, I don't get why they bothered, but it's not like that's incredibly invasive.
If I have an issue, it's that the game is too "busy", it's a non stop move from this objective, to the next, to the next, and so on. I'm sure that might lessen over time, but wow, there's a lot going on early on.
Had no problem getting the badge, nor have I in recent memory. Sometimes, I have to refresh the page, before badge credit "arrives", but otherwise it's fine, and that's how it's been for as long as I can recall.
Gotta agree with the poor down rated sruff581, this is a shitty excuse for a game. Is the lag supposed to be part of the "in joke" or something? This game is trash and should go back in the bin it crawled out of.
