If you changed your original game you don't have to upload it as a new one. You can simply edit the previous one and upload the new version. Or is this 100% identical to the previous one (except for the "2")?
You're not the first to come up with this kind of game and you'll not be the last. If you look around you'll see about a hundred similar games, which is fine if you're trying to learn.
Some people thought of more or less original additions. Some people tried to make it look like it wasn't thrown together in half an hour.
So there's a challenge: make it into a real game by adding stuff and improving the looks.
Here's one thing: if I press start I'm immediately thrown into the game screen, if I so much as flinch I'm immediately thrown out. How about putting some delay in there, maybe use a tween or something, so slower people like me can get an idea of what's going on?
Maybe you could try some filters, improving the graphics or some other stuff.
I knew this game from years ago and loved it. This could be a great remake, but to be honest, it's driving me mad. It's very hard to work with and already the first task is a huge bridge. Maybe some easy levels, a zoom function and some other things already suggested here would make it enjoyable.
@CuriousLemur : If you read the description you'll see that I called it a breakout clone, which is what it is, but the name Ping of course may lead people to believe that it's a pong clone (same basic principle yet totally different).
I also stated that it was inspired by a comment on another game here on Kongregate, so you might take it as what it is: a small joke, but playable too.
If you could point out the glitches I"ll have a team assigned to ironing them out and maybe add some 3D graphics. ;)
