The only achievements that are particularly difficult to get are the "play for __ minutes" ones, considering the lag this game dishes out. That aside, the enemies aren't difficult whatsoever and don't deliver much damage even with my armor only upgraded twice. The gun's that deliver splash damage are much more overpowered then the previous guns that are only a thousand or two dollars less but only hit one enemy. This causes a huge balance issue. That said I'll give it a 2/5.
Great game but some suggestions for an sequel: Hp bar above friendly units heads or somewhere along the screen, more reasonable gold system (had way too much and nothing to spend it on), a skill tree of some sort rather than having a mix-and-match set of skills (summoner tree, warrior tree, mage tree, etc) other than that I love the game keep up the good work. 5/5
Great game, but could use an icon of some sort showing the time remaining for debuffs/buffs somewhere on the screen, I don't like guessing when my shield spell will run out. 4/5
Achieved a score of 13,947, guess that's a good enough sample to give a decent review. First off lets start with the difficulty; there isn't a gradual increase in difficulty it's a constant blur of planets coming at you during predictable intervals which leads on to a very boring pattern. Graphics wise this is terrible, the planets are clearly just being enlarged as they come closer producing a pixelated effect, the "death-ray" looks like something done on default paint, and the stars are actually rectangular. Planets are sometimes around the border of the screen making them un-clickable. Some suggestions would be to add a multiplier, allow players to actually see the ship you're using, add various levels, improve the graphics, perhaps add an upgrade system, and add decent music and sound effects. It's not a bad game, but need a makeover. 2/5
Well if it's just the magnifying glass we're talking about, then you've done somethings wrong. Magnifying glasses have a sort of "fish-eye" affect when you look through them; basically a magnified center with a gradual decrease in magnifying intensity along the radius. That being said, at 8x it's quite hard to find your little ant's without this effect. It's an adequate idea but really nothing special whatsoever, it's been thousands of times over and incorporated in plenty of actual games and/or tutorials, unlike this one.
Quite mini indeed. The general feel of the game isn't much different than other top-down shooters. Though I understand how hard it could be to stand out in that genre. The lack of a save or checkpoint feature is a bit discouraging especially since health is scarce and hardly effective. Would be more interesting to keep going with decent background music, but the sound effects are adequate. Nothing extraordinary but also nothing missing from a top-down shooter. 3/5
Not sure about you, but if I just witnessed a grand explosion in the middle of an intersection I wouldn't ram the destroyed vehicles full throttle no matter what the traffic light says..
First noticeable quality about this game is the background music, I must say it was great. It gave the perfect eerie feeling. Not as hard as some other point and clicks but still just as enjoyable. The art style was original and contributed to the game's mysterious background. 4/5 keep up the good work.
@purple1001 There's a reason why creators of games add numbers onto their original game title, it's to notify players that it is a continuation of the same series as opposed to a completely different one. Of course they could add an extension to the original title such as "Wooden path: The gold path" but that's more lengthy than just adding a 2 and not quite as catchy. Other then that, great game iffy controls, 4/5 for the music though.
-in need of orange portals, active user, I'll send blue ones back asap- ;D
Side note: Played this game a while back it was great, especially the music. Sure it's short, but that's what made it interesting. It jumped straight into the story without unnecessary dialogue, great game 5/5
"Meh. You lived an uneventful life." two of my so-called "boyfriends" were murderers and alcoholic who ran away with a girl and her twin sister. And right when I found the perfect guy he died from some mysterious disease while I was attempting to move of my career path. Hardly uneventful if you ask me. =\
Simply amazing, though there is a lot to say about this game. First off, I love the fact that you allowed us to see a preview of the end-game ship in the opening introduction, in others words the best possible upgrades we can get. The game's AI was actually quite clever, and they didn't allow you to simple cut corners and shoot at them, they put up a fight. The game itself starts off slow, and there are issues with the camera and sailing off the map but in all it makes a great start for an updated version. 5/5
Would be interesting to see what you can make out of this, and borders to prevent falling off the map would be nice, but of course I know this is just a demo
Alright well there's quite a bit I can actually say about this game. First off the forced rating, if you're going to make a game unworthy of a 2/5 why expect anything more? The units available for you to use are practically pointless since you can't even choose where they get to be placed. A lone zombie can walk up to a pack of 2-3 of your units and wipe them out in less then 5 seconds. The music is a loud irritating loop. And finally the game lacks visuals such as a background and decent animations. There you go, plenty of reason not to rate it 5/5.
