Running training was a disaster. I can never get more then 2 coins because the hops are timed randomly so half the time when I press the spacebar I don't jump because the duck decides to hop forward just then. A lot of times this actually makes it impossible to go any farther because you can't control how high you jump, so you have to press space before it tries to hop, but end up landing on something.
A lot of the combinations were sort of dumb, like beat + cart. Why wouldn't it be domesticated animal + cart? And while I understand the effort required to even make 115 combinations, the game still felt woefully lacking in complexity. Like what about meat + fire? And civilization was pretty much skipped; no castles or kings or anything. This is a good game with nice visual effects and fun gameplay, but in the end it felt WAY to arbitrary.
The moves are especially impossible. The jump attack works about 1 out of 10 times I mash the down, forward, and attack buttons all at once. Seriously, it's near impossible to time them all to within the ridiculous margins required. The controls really ruined this game for me.
