Fun to play once, but it's too easy. And after the final wave, you just win and can't even go back to menu?
Essential technique: Snipe, don't sweep! Continuous fire drains your power too fast, so just fire a short controlled energy burst at a target (and repeat, if it's not dead), otherwise jump over to the next. Enemies hit will be briefly stunned, no matter how short the burst. Getting the Mini-Coil early greatly reduces pressure since it will deal effectively with smaller foes and helps you preserve energy. Chain lightning only stuns the primary target, so aim for the stronger units (eventually hopping around between different targets to slow down a whole group). When only a few units of a wave remain, give yourself some recharge time before finishing them off.
"Gravity, my old enemy."
Very nice puzzle-style. The main challenge is to keep orientation (at least for me).
I also like the fixed-camera style level (level 5).
Llama fighting gives you 2x your bet with 50% chance (assuming the game is fair), while Llama racing only gives you 3x where the chances are 25%... Morale: Gambling is evil.
The graphics are smooth and fine and the atmosphere is right. Controls are OK, even if the only difference between shoot and pass seems to be how hard he hits it. Simplifications, such as no ball can be "out", are fine.
Now the bad news: Gameplay is awful. AI lets your teammates run around at random and you can't change the player, so defense is just not possible. Every misplaced shot starts a counter attack for your opponent. So most of the time, it's just one player versus the goalie. Or two, or all of them. Not that it mattered much, you could also shoot from the middle line, doesn't improve your chances. Passing is a pain, like throwing a coin you keep the ball in 1 out of 2.
Still, you can play this game, and enjoy it to some extents. 3/5
Nice physics game. The wind is a little too strong, making some levels purely chaotic (as to say, a matter of luck). And for realism: The balls on trampolines bounce up to higher than where they came from (conservation of energy, anyone?). Enjoyable nevertheless. 4/5
Hi-quality round based tactical battle game, with action elements determining the performance of your units. Fine animations and sounds create an awesome atmosphere. Only con is that you only have level codes in single player (no saving). Game controls are easy enough to be played without tutorial. Overall, a great game. 5/5
Not so bad, Gameplay is a little too uniform (the powerups could have more power), there should be some extra trait (upgrades? boss mice?). The sounds are quite annoying (especially in the end with many mice on the cheese, sounds like static distortions) - 3/5
