Beat the 101 handily once i figured out that the turrets suck and you can build rooms with bouncy walls and pits/pools in the middle that the pirates will get stuck in forever. Absolutely great game.
Biological with all points/armor devoted to speed, maxed shadow blend is 400% speed, my lvl 25 biological can do ~5000 damage per Slash or Vicious Strike when Shadow Blended.
Lvl 20/Hard seems to be impossible, even with maxed out skills.
I can make it through the first wave, but the second kills me. Anyone able to do better?
This game is not too hard:
I just got to wave 110 on unlimited on lvl 10 with 125 lives. My browser crashed at that point, not sure it had anything to do with the game.
An even distribution of Life Steal, Confuse, Stun, Plant Bomb, Tele, and Instadeath, starting at the roundabout and then working to the beginning and then the bottom and then filling in the roundabout completely will get it done. Add some splash slows at the beginning of kill zones if you want, Same with splash poisons just to keep the creeps ticking some damage at all times, but I'm not sure its necessary.
After that, I started paving rainbow lvl 6 pures before I the game ended. It could have gone on for a very long time... with the roundabout completely encircled and filled with the stun/confuse/insta/bomb/tele shrooms almost nothing ever gets past the roundabout.
Life steals let you recover from the odd resistant wave very quickly.
Just beat lvl 10 for the gold medal.
Used Bomb/Insta/Tele/Confuse/Stun in an even ratio.
1 Splash Slow in the roundabout. Splash Slows at either end of the bottom kill zone. Splash slow at the beginning of the beginning kill zone. About 5 steal lifes scattered through the level. The steal lifes make the difference, you need them to recover somewhat from the tele/insta/bomb resistant waves.
Gold medals on all previous levels helps with having everything upgraded, too.
I finished with 55 life out of 125 available. That plus a few doll accessories boosted my score to almost 24mil. It can be done.
It does end. 500 gunmen and 100 silo workers and 1100 clip later, it does end.
Even with 500 gunmen and 100 silo workers, you still have to shoot at the end. I tried to let it play itself and I would have been dead quickly if I didn't start shooting again.
Oh, and 1000 clip is more than enough to hold down the fire button for the whole round with the Minigun.
The reward is worth it. Keep playing.
How come the NPC's and allies get a speed buff and the player doesn't? I have an assassin player at level 31 (beat area 4 finally) and he doesn't do half the max damage that the Amber NPC ally does when she has her speed buff on.
Absolutely fantastic tribute to Raid on Bungeling Bay, perhaps one of the best games ever made for the C64. Just beat it: Key is killing the Airports first, Tank generators second, then going after the other targets. Its worth suiciding choppers while you have time left on the clock to take out key targets. Airports and Tank factories and Power stations and war factories dont rebuild.
I left it going last night when I went to bed. I was on level 200 after maxxing out the map with the 4 high end towers.
Woke up this morning on level 499 with 8 lives left. It looks like the only think getting through are the air bosses. Which I can still kill if I use the special.
Its completely lagged with all the lightning towers I built though.
Obviously the game needs some more modes/challenges/sandbox mode/etc. But its got potential.
