If you get the "slow mode" message, the badges are all but impossible - The last few stages will require frame-perfect timing *and* a bit of luck. No idea what "slow mode" means since I'm on a high-end gaming rig, but I can't find any way to avoid it.
you may try:
- closing CPU-intensive programs (game runs entirely on CPU)
- try another browser (maybe there are too many extensions activated or the browser is outdated)
- if you're playing on a laptop either disable power saving options, or connect it to the laptop charger
Slow mode gets activated when the FPS varies too much, and just changes the way the game loop is iterated.
For technical reasons, playing on a 144hz monitor will also trigger "slow mode".
This game is hard-forced to run at 60 fps, which I know is bad. I made the game engine myself, because of that I can't guarantee compatibility with every browser/device/OS since I couldn't test them all :(
Hint: Starting level 12 is IMO the hardest move in the game because of the new pattern. Give the first blue ball you touch to the opposite squirrel; taking it back will be your last move on the level. The rest will all fall into place easily and you'll beat the game five minutes later.
Fuel pickups aren't working on level 4, and it doesn't seem possible to reach 1000 to get to level 5 without extra fuel. Kind of a literal showstopper, since we can't go any further.
@lordyoyo - If the vertical block on the right reaches the square one, it seems to break the direction change. You need to drop the vertical, immediately jump up to the ledge and trigger the square one to go right, then it will move left but only if the vertical one hasn't hit it yet. (I was stuck here for about 20 minutes too).
I could deal without any offline progress, except this game crashes after about four hours (and takes away most of the *online* gains since the last time I manually clicked something when it does).
It also seems to randomly buy new things for me - After 50, I've kept everything to multiples of 10, and yet I'll come back, find it crashed, reload, and have (for example) 302 lemonade stands.
I've come to love jmtb02 games, for their ability to remain fun while having fairly simple game mechanics. This game, however, glitches at the drop of a hat. THREE TIMES I've reset it, and after less than a dozen launches, the upgrade screen and the launcher irreparably break each game. I look forward to a serious bugfix release, and then I'll try it again, but for now, sorry, but one star for (literally) "unplayably buggy".
SERIOUSLY needs a "colorblind" mode. Past area 1, I can't tell my bullets from coins from enemy bullets (I obviously can if I look right at them, but looking right at *anything* means instant death, of course). Either that, or at the very least add a "hide coins" accessory. Otherwise, great game!
Not a bad game, but seriously, listen to your fans. Persistent upgrades or drop the "normal" mode difficulty drastically. For those who love an impossible game, great, give it to them in a "Nightmare" mode (aka "normal" in the present game). For those of us who just like to casually play and ENJOY a game for an hour or two, this ain't it. Totally random + no grinding = 1/5.
"u need to buy the retarded thing to F8cking get the badge" - Umm, no. You can get the badge, really. if the first transporter you find in the 2nd level won't let you use it... Keep looking.
