Helpful hints.
1) Avoid brining in new play pieces, especially if near the pawns if your king is not there yet.
2) Track the # of pawns you kill. If you kill all of his, and his king, you
can't lose.
3) If you want points, you have to lose games. You can lose a game by
having the computer have more points than you and end up in a stale mate by you and he repeating the same moves.
4) The computer is much more aggressive, which is often a good tactict, but materialize new pieces is a good way to lose a piece.
(Having a queen appear next to yours sucks to say the least.)
6) Remember, if it's already on the board, it can't be there again. So if his king and queen are visable, you can materialize a new piece next to your queen w/o mishap.
You can get better over time. You just need to think of what can the worst thing happen is. I.E. If you have a mummy then making a mummy or queen or king appear next
to your mummy is not good. You need to protect your ghosts until the opponent king is dead, but not so much after. I've only played at ordinary, but now I win usually 2 of 3.
Not bad. A bit too easy for the non-boss. It would be nice to have a map feature and more importantly, a health bar for the boss so you know if you are doing any damage.
I like it overall, but there are places that need improvement.
1) Please allow a save and exit. Yes, the world password is nice, but when lunch time is over I can't have it sitting there.
2) World maps would be great.
3) There are places in the game you have to go too darn slow to make it. This kills some of the fun.
Very strange. Only complaint is you need better indicators of when a drop kills you and when it is going to do a switch. A map feature might be nice, though I do understand how that might 'ruin' the concept of the game, still getting lost kinda sucks the first time. Well worth playing.
Excellent game. Save feature is fantastic. I'd like to see more hearts or other ways to recharge and perhaps a little more detail in the help on the nature of the monsters. Still, most of it is obvious if you take the time to watch.
