There's a glitch in the room with the three white robots, in the red area; if you jump on the booster but don't do well enough to get to the top, you are unable to jump down and try again.
You can kill the Apprentice with just one Mana Scholar of any level. Get the Apprentice trapped behind a lake and just wait. It's take about 20 minutes for a level 10 Mana Scholar to solo him.
