Great game, love it.
Two things, however:
1. A subtle feedback when you earn mutagen from expansions or hatcheries could be a satisfying addition to the game. Would make the related mutations seem more rewarding e.g. if you see that feedback more often having the frequency mutation enabled.
2. I feel like there should be an additional purpose for territory than just expansions. Like, for all the other resources you always have to think about what to spend it on (e.g. larva for hives or for soldiers? Energy for clones or lepidoptera?).
for those who haven't figured out (like me in the beginning):
to jump really high (to reach UFOs) go down to about 150m, look up and boost at this depth. This will give you enough speed to jump to the clouds or higher. Upgrade boost, diving and speed if necessary.
The gap size should increase with your speed and not with distance. When fully upgraded the beginning becomes very hard with those small gaps.
Nice idea with those colors, though.
If the last enemy is a boss-ninja it is almost impossible to reach a "brilliant" (it's only possible if you're lucky enough and the first hit frightens him). This sucks.
The rest of the game is great though.
finding out the proper sequence of the colors somehow reminds me of factory balls... ;-).
great game though, because it starts quite simple and gets really hard.
sometimes one of those big mechanical guys gets stuck in the entrance and i can't kill him, so i have to start the wave again.
beside this it's a funny game.
