The main problemn with this game is that it tries to combat exponential growth with linear growth, which is never going to happen. To solve this would, probably, require a complete overhaul of the reset system. My suggestion would be something like this:
Instead of basing the bonus multiplier on achievements obtained base it on money earned, with something like a 0.2 multiplier for each 100 000 or something earned. This way you'll increase the speed at which you acquire multipiers each play through, giving an exponential growth.
In addition to this i would suggest changing the achievements to a permanent boost, giving even more speed.
A total different solution would be to change the costs of gifts/dates and time of hobby's to linear growth, so instead of doubling the cost simply add the same amount. This would change the costs to linear growth, which can be countered by linear growth.
hmm... what i should do is make the skills cost more money but less experience at high levels, because i now have 200M but can't really spent it anywhere XD
